The Pokemon Company is marking its 30th anniversary — 30 years since Pokémon Red and Green launched in Japan in February 1996 — with what it calls the largest regional celebration in Asia to date. Seven cities across the continent are included, and the main event series, called PokéXciting!, will hold large-scale fan festivals at five of them.

For Filipino Fans
Manila's placement near the end of the tour — January 2027 — means Filipino fans have the longest wait of the five PokéXciting! markets, but it also means The Pokemon Company will have had several events' worth of experience to refine the format by the time it arrives.
