Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Sourcing and Attribution

We report from primary sources wherever they exist: manufacturer announcements, regulatory filings, official documentation, and firsthand testing. Where we rely on another outlet, we say so and link to the original rather than presenting the reporting as our own.

  • Claims that cannot be verified are labelled as rumoured, leaked, or unconfirmed
  • Single-source reports are identified as such
  • Specifications, pricing, and availability are attributed to the party that announced them
  • We do not republish another publication's work as original reporting

Accuracy and Corrections

We aim to get things right the first time, and to fix them quickly and visibly when we do not.

When an article contains a factual error, we correct the article and note what changed and when. Substantive corrections — anything that alters the meaning or conclusion of a piece — are disclosed in the article itself rather than made silently. Updates that add newly released information to a developing story are marked as updates, not corrections.

If you believe something we published is inaccurate, please tell us through the contact page. Include the article and the specific claim in question and we will review it.

Independence and Advertising

Clurky is funded by advertising. Editorial decisions are made independently of that funding. Advertisers do not choose what we cover, do not review articles before publication, and receive no favourable treatment in our reporting.

We do not publish paid or sponsored articles. If that ever changes, such content will be clearly labelled as advertising and kept visually distinct from editorial coverage. Where an article discusses a product we received at no cost, or a company we have a relationship with, we disclose it in the article.

Use of AI

Articles on Clurky are written and edited by a human. We may use software tools to assist with research, transcription, or proofreading, but no article is published without a person verifying its claims and taking responsibility for its accuracy. We do not publish machine-generated articles.

Who We Are
