Flyff Universe players in Metro Manila can watch eight teams fight for $110,000 (around ₱6.9 million) in person this Saturday, October 24, when the Flyff Universe World Championship (FWC) 2026 Grand Final takes over the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall from 12:00 PM, per the official finals notice. A developer meet-and-greet runs the afternoon before, on-site raffles pay out in GCash, and the whole thing streams free for anyone who cannot make it to Pasay.

What FWC is, and why the final is in Manila

Flyff Universe is a browser-based (HTML5) MMORPG developed by Gala Lab and serviced by Wemade Connect; the Manila announcement itself came from Wemade Max. FWC is its yearly esports event: teams level characters from scratch on a dedicated tournament server, under equal conditions, then fight in PvP and PvE brackets. This is the fourth edition.

The Manila final was announced by Wemade Max in a company press release on October 19, carried by BusinessMirror and reported by Inven Global. The headline numbers from that release: a record $110,000 prize pool (about ₱6.9 million at the ₱62.985-per-dollar close GMA News reported on October 16), eight teams that came through global qualifiers, and players from seven countries including the Philippines, the United States, France and Chile. Defending champion Astral is in the field.

Wemade Connect CEO Ho-dae Lee called FWC "more than an esports tournament; it is a festival" in the release. The venue choice itself is the Philippine angle: Manila gets the offline final, Filipino streamers are part of the official broadcast, and the on-site prizes are paid in pesos.

The bracket is eight-team double elimination with no bracket reset. Most matches are best-of-one, the Winners Final and Losers Final are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is best-of-five, with the Winners Final winner starting 1-0 up. The notice estimates five to seven minutes per game.

The eight finalists and the new Opponent Selection rule

The field, per the finalists notice, is the top two teams from each of three time-zone qualifiers, a PlayPark Wild Card team, and WCN wild card Bloody, which was picked on preliminary-round criteria. The three qualifier winners are seeded GrindSky first, SUPAHOTCREWXD second and Desolate third. That seeding matters because of this year's new Opponent Selection system: the seeded teams pick bracket positions in reverse order (third, second, first), then choose their first-round opponents in seed order. The full team list is published only as an image on the official site, so we have not reproduced it here.

On-site activities, GCash raffles and the KAIA set

The press release promises a stage performance by Filipino girl group KAIA, fan signings with Filipino cosplayers and content creators, a photo zone, four-cut photo booths, official merchandise and in-game rewards, plus a lucky draw with a scooter, a custom-built gaming PC and a gaming laptop as top prizes.

The official notice lists the smaller, venue-only contests with their peso values:

  • Flyffers Assemble! Guild Rally — guilds of 20 or more members that register at the booth compete for prizes from ₱4,000 to ₱18,000.
  • Guild Raffle — one winning guild of 20+ members gets ₱500 in GCash per member.
  • Photo Op — post publicly with the official hashtags; 10 winners get ₱500 GCash, announced October 28.
  • FWC Prediction Challenge — pick the champion; 15 winners get ₱500 GCash.
  • Cosplay Invasion — free and unjudged; the first 10 cosplayers get a reward, and the first five in Flyff cosplay get ₱1,000 each.

Tickets: what is and is not confirmed

The October 23 Meet The Devs! session is open only to buyers of the Premium Ultimate or Premium Unique ticket, which the official notice links to. The same notice does not state general-admission terms for the October 24 Grand Final itself, and none of the press coverage we read mentions a door price, so treat that as unconfirmed until the organizers say otherwise. Buy only through the links on the official Flyff Universe site.

How to watch online, and the ₱500 Stream Rally

The final streams from 2:00 PM on the official Flyff Universe YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels, with the KAIA performance and awards ceremony included in the broadcast. The notice also names partner streamers, two of them Filipino: Daddy EJ and Icestah TV, alongside English, Thai and German channels.

For viewers in the Philippines there is a Stream Rally run with PlayPark: watch the livestream, share it publicly with the official hashtags, and comment your in-game name and server; 15 winners get ₱500 in GCash. No announcement date is given for that draw.
