A five-player VALORANT or League of Legends team that wins the Predator League 2027 Philippine Qualifier takes home ₱200,000, or ₱40,000 per player if the prize is split evenly, plus a slot representing the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2027 Grand Finals in Vietnam in January. Registration closes on October 15, four days from today, as Gadget Pilipinas reported on October 9 from Acer Philippines' announcement. The total pool is ₱1,000,000, split evenly across the two games.
Predator League 2027 PH prize pool
Each title pays out the same ₱500,000, down to eighth place. The figures below match the official VALORANT registration form and the League of Legends form, as well as Technobaboy's report.
| Placement | Prize per game | Per player (5-person split) |
|---|
| Champion | ₱200,000 | ₱40,000 |
| 2nd place | ₱120,000 | ₱24,000 |
| 3rd–4th place | ₱50,000 each | ₱10,000 |
| 5th–8th place | ₱20,000 each | ₱4,000 |
The per-player column is our arithmetic, not Acer's. Teams with a coach or substitutes will split it further, and the organizer has not said whether prizes are subject to withholding tax, so treat the figures as gross amounts.
Key dates for VALORANT and League of Legends
The registration period opened on September 23 and runs to October 15, 2026, according to both official forms. After that:
- Open qualifiers: October 17 (VALORANT) and October 18 (League of Legends). Single elimination, a mix of best-of-one and best-of-three. The top eight teams in each game advance.
- Group stage: October 24–25 (VALORANT) and October 30–31 (League of Legends). Eight teams in two groups, single round robin, best-of-one. The top two in each group advance.
- Online playoffs: November 7 (VALORANT) and November 8 (League of Legends). Single elimination, best-of-three.
- LAN Grand Finals: Best-of-five. The forms list the date and venue as "TBA," while Manila Shaker and Technobaboy report "late November." Acer has not named a city.
The champion of each game goes on to the Asia Pacific Predator League 2027 Grand Finals in Vietnam in January 2027. For scale, the 2026 APAC finale in New Delhi carried a total prize pool of USD 400,000 (around ₱25.1 million).
How 2027 compares with the 2026 qualifier
The headline pool is smaller than last year's ₱1.2 million, but the money is spread very differently. The 2026 Philippine Qualifier ran three games, Dota 2, VALORANT and League of Legends, and League of Legends was the poor relation: its champion got ₱100,000, its runner-up ₱50,000, and third and fourth place ₱15,000 each, per Edge Davao's report on the 2026 edition.
For 2027, Dota 2 is gone from the Philippine lineup and League of Legends gets the same ₱500,000 table as VALORANT. In practice:
- A League of Legends champion earns ₱200,000, double last year's ₱100,000.
- A League of Legends team finishing 3rd–4th earns ₱50,000, more than three times last year's ₱15,000.
- A League of Legends team finishing 5th–6th earns ₱20,000, four times last year's ₱5,000.
- VALORANT payouts are unchanged at the top; the 2027 table simply extends to 7th–8th place, which the 2026 report did not itemize.
- Dota 2 teams lose the ₱460,000 that was itemized for their bracket in 2026.
Acer Philippines Managing Director Sue Ong-Lim framed the event as a platform for players to grow their careers, saying, "We believe every player has the potential to go beyond their limits," according to Gadget Pilipinas.
Who should register
This is worth your weekend if your team already scrims regularly and can field five players on a Saturday or Sunday for a full single-elimination bracket. The early rounds include best-of-one matches, so a strong team can still go out on one bad map; the schedule rewards squads with a stable roster rather than pickup groups.
It is a less attractive bet if you are a solo player looking for a team now. Registration closes October 15 and the qualifier is two days later, so there is no time to build chemistry. Note also that the forms record the Google account name, email and photo of whoever submits, and that each game has an official rulebook (PLPH27-VALORANT-Rulebook and PLPH27-LOL-Rulebook) linked from the registration page. Read it before you register: the forms do not list eligibility, residency or age rules in their public description, so those details sit in the rulebook.
How to register
- Open the VALORANT form (bit.ly/PLPH27-VALORANT) or the League of Legends form (bit.ly/PLPH27-LEAGUEOFLEGENDS). Both short links resolve to Google Forms run by the organizer.
- Prepare accurate, current details for the team and every player; the form says submissions are taken as agreement to the tournament rules.
- Submit before October 15, 2026, then watch for the qualifier bracket on October 17 or 18.
