The short version: POCO's new flagships are official in the Philippines. The POCO F9 Pro starts at ₱49,999 and the F9 Ultra at ₱55,999, but an early-bird promo running September 1 to 16 on Shopee and Lazada cuts the F9 Pro to ₱33,999 — and platform vouchers push it below ₱30,000.

Platform rebates stack on top of the early-bird prices, Tech Patrol reports: the base F9 Pro drops to ₱30,600 with a Shopee rebate or ₱29,300 with a Lazada rebate, while the base F9 Ultra can go as low as ₱41,920 on Shopee. Early-bird buyers also get free REDMI Buds 8 Active earbuds, an extra year of warranty on top of the standard one, and six months of screen replacement coverage at Xiaomi service centers.
What both phones share
The F9 Pro and F9 Ultra run the same core hardware:
- Chipset: Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with VisionBoost D8, POCO's dedicated graphics chip that pushes supported games to up to 185 frames per second
- Display: 1.5K-resolution AMOLED with a 185Hz refresh rate (how many times the screen redraws per second) behind Gorilla Glass 7i
- Camera: 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto, and a 32MP front camera
- Charging: 100W wired, 50W wireless, plus reverse charging for topping up accessories
- Audio: dual speakers tuned with "Sound by Bose," with selectable Dynamic and Balanced sound modes
- Durability and software: IP68 dust and water resistance, running HyperOS 3
Both phones also do reverse charging in both directions — 27W wired and 22.5W wireless — so they can top up earbuds or even another phone. For creators, POCO is pitching a Live Cinematography mode for video capture, and a Smart Frame Rate feature that manages how games hold their high frame-rate targets.
What the F9 Ultra adds
The Ultra is the endurance-and-audio play. It carries an 8,050mAh battery — one of the largest fitted to any flagship sold here — against the Pro's still-large 6,330mAh, and stretches the display to 6.9 inches versus the Pro's more hand-friendly 6.59 inches. The Ultra also upgrades the third camera to a 50MP ultra-wide (the Pro makes do with 8MP) and adds a dedicated subwoofer for a 2.1 speaker setup. Colors: black, white, and Aurora Green for the Pro; black and Dark Cherry for the Ultra.
How the pricing stacks up
The early-bird math is the story here. At ₱33,999 — let alone ₱29,300 with vouchers — the F9 Pro undercuts the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, which landed in the Philippines at ₱46,990, by well over ₱10,000 while carrying Qualcomm's newer flagship-class silicon. It arrives as Omdia's data shows Filipino buyers migrating up from entry-level phones toward the midrange and above — exactly the movement aggressive flagship-killer pricing is designed to capture.
The catch is the calendar: after September 16, both phones revert to SRPs that sit much closer to established flagship territory. If either phone is on your list, the two-week window is where the value lives. Both are available now through POCO's official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
