If you are buying a big-battery phone for about ₱12,000 this week, the POCO C95 Pro now sells in the Philippines for ₱11,999 with 6GB of RAM, the same price the Redmi 17 asks for 4GB. The two phones share almost every other spec. The real differences are the RAM, the colors and how long each promo price lasts.
POCO put the C95 Pro on sale here on October 25, more than three weeks after the phone's global launch, which FoneArena covered on October 2. We already wrote about the global debut of the POCO C95 Pro. This post is about what it costs here, and how it compares with the phone it most resembles.
POCO C95 Pro price in the Philippines
The local prices were first reported by Technobaboy. As of publication, we could not find them on an official POCO Philippines page, so treat them as launch-report figures until POCO posts its own.
- 6GB + 128GB: ₱13,999 SRP, ₱11,999 early-bird price
- 8GB + 256GB: ₱15,999 SRP, ₱13,999 early-bird price
- Early-bird window: October 25 (from 6 p.m.) to November 15, 2026
- Lowest reported Shopee price: ₱10,599 and ₱12,399, after a Shopee platform rebate and an extra ₱300 voucher
- Colors: Blue, Black and Green
Shopee is the only store named in the launch reports. We could not confirm whether Lazada or Xiaomi's physical stores carry it yet.
POCO C95 Pro vs Redmi 17: the spec sheets side by side
POCO is a Xiaomi sub-brand. When you put POCO's official C95 Pro spec sheet next to Xiaomi Philippines' Redmi 17 spec sheet, most lines match word for word.

The Redmi 17 prices come from our report on the Redmi 17's Philippine launch.
The few differences are in the extras. The Redmi 17 overview page lists a "Dynamic RGB light" that works as a charging and camera status indicator. POCO's overview page lists dual stereo speakers and a "300% volume boost", which its footnote defines as 17 volume steps instead of 15. Colors differ too: the Redmi 17 comes in Black, Deep Blue and Oak Green here.
The price math, promo by promo
By our math, using the prices above:
- Until October 31: both phones cost ₱11,999. The POCO C95 Pro gives you 2GB more RAM for ₱0 extra.
- November 1 to 15: the Redmi 17 returns to its ₱12,999 SRP, while the POCO stays at ₱11,999. That makes the POCO ₱1,000 cheaper, with more RAM.
- After November 15, if no new promo starts: ₱13,999 vs ₱12,999. You would pay ₱1,000 more for the extra 2GB of RAM.
- The 8GB + 256GB POCO costs ₱2,000 more than the 6GB model during the early-bird period (₱13,999 − ₱11,999). That buys 2GB more RAM and double the storage.
Does 6GB vs 4GB of RAM matter?
RAM (the phone's short-term working memory) decides how many apps can stay open in the background before the phone reloads them. With more RAM, switching between Facebook, GCash and a game is less likely to restart an app.
Both phones offer "memory extension", which turns part of the storage into extra RAM. POCO's spec sheet says this reaches up to 16GB on the 8GB model, while the Redmi 17 reaches up to 8GB. Both sheets note that this extra RAM "will occupy a corresponding amount of ROM storage", so it uses up your storage space. Physical RAM is the number to compare.
Battery claims and reverse charging
POCO's C95 Pro product page makes these battery claims, all from its own internal lab tests:
- up to two days of use per charge
- up to 91 hours of music, 28 hours of video playback and 46 hours of calls
- about 35 minutes of charging for a full day of use, and 96 minutes from 2% to 100%
- more than 80% of the original capacity left after 1,000 full charge cycles
The 22.5W reverse wired charging lets you use the phone as a power bank for earbuds or another phone through a USB-C cable. That can help during a brownout. Note that 22.5W is the maximum, and POCO says it works with devices verified in its own testing.
Check these before you buy
- No charger in the box. Both official spec sheets say "No power adapter included in box" and recommend Xiaomi's 45W adapter. POCO's overview page has one footnote that mentions an "in-box 45W charger", but its spec sheet and package list do not include one. Without a 45W charger, you will not get the advertised charging speed.
- 4G only. Both spec sheets list 2G, 3G and 4G LTE bands, with no 5G.
- Hybrid SIM tray. The tray is "3 in 2", so a microSD card takes the place of a second SIM.
- Slower storage. Both use eMMC 5.1, an older storage type that is slower than the UFS storage in pricier phones. FoneArena's launch report listed UFS 2.2, but POCO's official spec sheet says eMMC 5.1, so we go with POCO's page.
- HD+ screen. The 6.9-inch display is 720p, not Full HD.
Which one should you buy?
If you want this 7,500mAh phone, the POCO C95 Pro at ₱11,999 is the better deal from now to November 15: same price or lower than the Redmi 17, with 2GB more RAM. Pick the Redmi 17 if you prefer its colors or its RGB status light, or if you want to buy at a Xiaomi store, since the launch reports for the POCO named only Shopee.
