vivo S2 FE Debuts With a 10,000mAh Battery — the Biggest vivo Has Ever Shipped

The vivo S2 FE is official in India with a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED, and the Dimensity 7300e, from ₹38,999 (around ₱25,300). No PH date yet.

The vivo S2 FE is official, and it leads with one number: a 10,000mAh battery, the largest vivo has ever shipped in a phone. The mid-ranger launched in India on October 6 alongside the vivo V80, and goes on sale there on October 20 through Flipkart.

A 10,000mAh battery that doubles as a power bank

Battery is the whole story here. The 10,000mAh cell is far above the 5,000–7,000mAh now common in this price range, and even clears the 7,050mAh cell in the standard vivo S2. It charges at 44W and supports reverse charging, so the phone can top up earbuds, a smartwatch, or another phone like a power bank. Despite the battery, the S2 FE stays a conventional 8.6mm thick, at 224 grams.

Durability matches the endurance pitch: an IP69 rating (protection against dust and high-pressure water jets) plus MIL-STD-810H certification, a US military standard for surviving drops, vibration, and temperature swings.

A proven efficiency chip, not a flagship one

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300e is a deliberate choice for a battery phone. It is a 5G mid-range chip tuned for efficiency rather than peak performance — the same positioning that made the regular Dimensity 7300 a staple of long-endurance phones — and it differs from the standard vivo S2, which runs the slightly quicker Dimensity 7360 Turbo. Paired with a cell this large, the practical promise is multi-day use on a single charge, though vivo has not published an official endurance rating. Memory is LPDDR4X RAM with 6GB or 8GB options, and storage is fixed at 128GB with no microSD expansion.

Price and availability

India pricing starts at ₹38,999 (around ₱25,300) for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/128GB version costs ₹42,999 (around ₱27,900). Colors are Stellar Green, Titan Black, and Zen White. Sales open October 20.

For context, pre-launch leaks had pegged the box price at ₹39,999, so the official starting price came in slightly lower — and the long-rumored 10,000mAh battery turned out to be real.

The big-battery race keeps escalating

The S2 FE is the latest entry in a fast-moving race to stuff ever-larger batteries into ordinary mid-range phones. In the past few weeks alone, vivo's own V80 Lite brought a 10,000mAh cell to Southeast Asia, while POCO's C95 Pro arrived with a 7,500mAh battery at a budget price. What distinguishes the S2 FE is pairing the 10,000mAh figure with an AMOLED display, an IP69 rating, and a thickness that still reads like a normal phone — a combination that, until this year, did not exist at any price.

Will it reach the Philippines?

vivo has not announced a Philippine launch for the S2 FE, and there is no local price or release date yet. There is precedent for hope, though: vivo brought its other 10,000mAh phone, the V80 Lite, to the Philippines this month with an early listing of ₱24,999, so very large batteries are clearly part of the brand's local playbook. If the S2 FE follows, its India pricing suggests it would land in the mid-₱20,000s — but until vivo Philippines says so, treat that as an estimate, not a promise.
