A ₱20,000 budget covered these ten phones, priced from ₱14,999 to ₱19,999, going by official stores and one retailer on 1 November 2026. Phone prices are moving, so every price below carries the date it was shown and a link to the page that shows it.
This list compares published prices and specs only. None of it comes from hands-on use, and the order is by price, not a ranking. It is also not every phone under ₱20,000: cheaper models exist, and any model without a dated official or retailer price was left out.

MemoXpress is a Philippine gadget retailer. It is the price source where the brand's own Philippine page showed no price. "From" is the brand's own label, so versions with more memory can cost more.
Anong magandang cellphone na mura?
Published specs can't tell you which one feels better to use. On published figures, the cheapest on this list are the REDMI Note 17 and vivo Y31d at ₱14,999, and the cheapest 5G phone on it is the POCO M8s 5G from ₱16,499.
Specs for each phone under ₱20,000
Specs come from each brand's Philippine page. Retailer listings can differ, so check the brand's page before you buy.
REDMI Note 17, from ₱14,999. Xiaomi lists a 6.99-inch AMOLED screen up to 120Hz, a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip, a 7,700mAh typical battery, 45W charging and IP65 (a dust and splash rating). MemoXpress shows the same ₱14,999. See our REDMI Note 17 series launch report for the wider lineup.
vivo Y31d, ₱14,999. vivo lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chip, a 7,200mAh battery, 44W charging, a 120Hz screen and IP68 and IP69 ratings. MemoXpress shows one price across four memory options and doesn't say which it covers, and its spec text differs from vivo's, so ask the store before paying.
POCO M8s 5G, from ₱16,499. Xiaomi lists a 6.9-inch screen up to 144Hz, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip, a 7,000mAh typical battery, 33W charging and IP64, in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB versions.
REDMI Note 17 5G, from ₱16,999. Xiaomi lists a 6.99-inch AMOLED screen up to 120Hz, a 7,700mAh typical battery and IP65, like the 4G model, with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip. MemoXpress also shows ₱16,999. By our math, the step from the 4G Note 17 is ₱2,000 (₱16,999 − ₱14,999) at the starting prices.
realme C100, ₱16,999. realme lists a MediaTek Helio G92 Max chip, an 8,000mAh typical battery, a screen up to 120Hz, and 4GB+256GB and 8GB+256GB versions. Its product page claims IP69. MemoXpress doesn't say which version its ₱16,999 covers.
OPPO A6, ₱17,999. OPPO's store prices the "12GB (4+8) + 256GB" version at ₱17,999. That means 4GB of physical memory plus 8GB of expanded memory, as OPPO's spec page explains. It also lists a Snapdragon 685 chip, a 7,000mAh typical battery, a 6.75-inch screen up to 120Hz and LTE as the fastest network. MemoXpress lists an 8GB-256GB OPPO A6 at ₱19,999.
Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, ₱18,990. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, a 5,000mAh typical battery and IP64. MemoXpress offers 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB but shows one price. Only the smaller version is likely to fit this budget: Top Gear Philippines reported ₱18,990 for 6GB/128GB on 26 June 2026, and Samsung's page showed ₱23,090 for 8GB/256GB on 1 November 2026.
TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G, ₱18,999. TECNO lists a Dimensity 7100 chip, 8GB of memory plus 8GB extended, 256GB of storage, an 8,000mAh battery, 45W charging and a screen up to 144Hz. MemoXpress's description says 7,000mAh, so this guide uses TECNO's figure.
POCO M8 5G, ₱18,999. Xiaomi lists a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen up to 120Hz, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, a 5,520mAh typical battery, 45W charging and IP66. The page offers 8GB+256GB and 8GB+512GB but shows one price, so check which version you are buying.
HONOR X8d, ₱19,999. HONOR lists a 6.77-inch screen, a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip, 8GB+256GB, a 7,000mAh typical battery, IP65 and 4G. It is ₱1 under the limit, so a small price rise would put it over.
Battery size for the money
By our math, this is listed battery capacity per ₱100 at the prices above (mAh ÷ price × 100). It measures size for the money, not how long a phone lasts, because screens and chips use power differently.
| Phone | mAh per ₱100 |
|---|---|
| REDMI Note 17 | 51 |
| vivo Y31d | 48 |
| realme C100 | 47 |
| REDMI Note 17 5G | 45 |
| POCO M8s 5G | 42 |
| TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G | 42 |
| OPPO A6 | 39 |
| HONOR X8d | 35 |
| POCO M8 5G | 29 |
| Samsung Galaxy A27 5G | 26 |
What to check before you pay
- Open the linked page again. The Galaxy A27 5G's 8GB/256GB version went from ₱21,990 in the June report to ₱23,090 on Samsung's page, so a date matters.
- Confirm the memory version. Where a listing shows one price for several versions, ask which one it covers.
- Separate real memory from expanded memory. A "12GB" label on the OPPO A6 means 4GB physical. TECNO's spec page states 8GB plus 8GB extended, so read that line the same way.
- Decide if you need 5G. Five of the ten are 4G only, and the 4G Note 17 costs ₱2,000 less than its 5G version.
Just over ₱20,000
If you can stretch, the POCO M8 Pro 5G starts at ₱21,499 on Xiaomi's page (1 November 2026), with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and a 6,500mAh typical battery.
