iOS 27 and iPadOS 27: Full Device Compatibility List from WWDC 2026

WWDC 2026 brought iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, and Apple is billing this as its widest-reaching update yet — compatibility stretches back to the iPhone 11, released in 2019. If you own an iPhone 11 through any current model (including SE 2nd generation and later), you are getting the update.

• iPad: 9th generation and later

Siri AI Requirements

Not every supported device gets Apple's new Gemini-backed Siri AI. The advanced assistant — capable of answering questions based on what is on your screen, drafting documents, and performing multi-step tasks — requires an iPhone 15 Pro or later (A17 Pro chip, 8GB RAM minimum) or an iPad with an M1 chip or newer.
