The HONOR 600S goes official in the Philippines today, October 1, with a launch livestream at 4 p.m. on HONOR's Facebook and YouTube pages — and the company is opening pre-orders the same day with a raffle worth ₱1 million in SM Gift Passes. The official price will be revealed at the launch event.

The ₱1 million pre-order promo

Anyone who pre-orders or buys the HONOR 600S from October 1 to 9 qualifies for a raffle with a grand prize of ₱1,000,000 worth of SM Gift Passes. Teknogadyet's rundown of the promo lays out the mechanics:

  1. Buy or pre-order the HONOR 600S between October 1 and 9, 2026.
  2. In stores — purchases go through authorized HONOR Experience Stores nationwide and Globe stores; units must be claimed on October 10 or 11 to qualify.
  3. Online — order from HONOR's official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop, then register the device's IMEI number (the phone's unique serial identifier) on the promo portal after delivery.
  4. Each verified unit earns one raffle entry, and multiple purchases earn multiple entries.

Full mechanics are posted on HONOR's official promo registration site.

What the HONOR 600S brings

HONOR has been drip-feeding the phone's specifications ahead of launch. Revu's preview details a 6.87-inch, 120Hz display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with a large 8,100mAh silicon-carbon battery that charges at 45 watts. Silicon-carbon cells pack more energy into the same space than conventional lithium-ion batteries, which is how a mainstream phone fits a battery this large without turning into a brick.

The camera setup is a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter on the back and a 5MP selfie camera. The headline software trick is AI Image to Video 2.0, which turns a still photo into a five-second animated clip, typically rendered in about three minutes. A new Freestyle option accepts typed prompts — the way you would instruct ChatGPT or Gemini — and the tool outputs 16:9 or 9:16 clips with optional AI-generated sound.

What we don't know yet

The price. HONOR Philippines is holding the number for the 4 p.m. launch event, and pre-order freebies beyond the raffle have not been itemized either. Memory and storage configurations for the local market also remain unconfirmed ahead of the stream. The positioning is clear, though: a big-battery 5G midranger aimed at content creators and young professionals, sold through both HONOR's own channels and Globe's retail network — a distribution detail that suggests carrier bundles could follow.

How it stacks up

The 8,100mAh cell puts the 600S in the middle of this year's Philippine battery arms race — bigger than almost everything in its class, though still short of the 10,000mAh vivo V80 Lite arriving this October. Where the 600S will win or lose is the price HONOR announces this afternoon: the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is an entry-level 5G chip, so a tag much above the high-teens would be a hard sell against stronger processors at the same price. HONOR's local lineup has been aggressive lately — its Pad X9b Max tablet landed at ₱19,999 — so a competitive number would fit the pattern. We will know by tonight.
