Buy an eligible ASUS or ROG laptop in the Philippines from September 7, 2026, and you can claim three months of Google AI Pro or Google AI Plus at no extra cost. The offer is redeemed inside the pre-installed MyASUS app and includes the plan's cloud storage: 5TB with Google AI Pro or 400GB with Google AI Plus, depending on which laptop you own, according to ASUS Philippines' offer page.

In peso terms, that is worth up to ₱3,300 for AI Pro (three months at ₱1,100 a month) or ₱855 for AI Plus (three months at ₱285 a month), based on the Philippine prices Google lists for its AI plans.

What the ASUS Google AI offer includes

ASUS announced the program globally on August 10, 2026, and the local rollout was announced in the Philippines on September 7. The offer covers selected 2025, 2026, and upcoming 2027 laptops across the ROG, TUF Gaming, ProArt, Zenbook, and Vivobook lines. Refurbished units are excluded. You do not choose the tier: each eligible model is mapped to either AI Pro or AI Plus, and ASUS's page has a model-name checker (enter the full model name, such as UX8407AA) that tells you which one you get.

Here is how the two plans compare with Google's free tier in the Philippines, per ASUS's local comparison chart and Google's plan page:

Google's own page adds that AI Pro includes 1,000 Google Flow credits, higher access to Gemini 3 Pro and Deep Search, and a YouTube Premium Lite plan, while AI Plus comes with 200 Flow credits and expanded Gemini Notebook access. Both plans work with the Gemini app and Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and other Google apps.

How to claim the free Google AI Pro or Plus on an ASUS laptop

ASUS lists a four-step redemption process:

  1. Open the MyASUS app on the laptop and sign in with, or create, an ASUS ID.
  2. Go to User Center, then Member Exclusive Coupons, and find the Google AI offer.
  3. Tap Redeem Now to be redirected to Google's Gift Box redemption page.
  4. Sign in to your Google Account, enter a valid form of payment, and tap Subscribe to start the trial.

The promotion runs from August 10, 2026 to August 9, 2027, and redemptions must be made by September 10, 2027. Once redeemed, one.google.com shows when the trial ends.

The fine print: who qualifies and what happens after three months

The offer is open to new Google One members, existing members without an AI Pro or AI Plus plan, and even members already on a paid or trial AI Pro or AI Plus plan. If you already subscribe, ASUS says your current plan is cancelled when the trial starts and you get a refund for the unused portion. The offer is only valid in countries where Google AI Pro and AI Plus are sold, which includes the Philippines.

The catch is the same as with most trials. On the day the three-month offer period ends, the subscription begins and your payment method is charged the standard monthly price until you cancel. At Philippine rates that is ₱1,100 a month for AI Pro or ₱285 for AI Plus. You can cancel any time in the Google One app or at one.google.com, but you must do it before the offer period ends to avoid the charge.

Is the free Google AI plan a reason to pick an ASUS laptop?

Three months of AI Pro is the bigger prize, and it is a genuine ₱3,300 of value for someone who already pays for Gemini or needs 5TB of Drive space. AI Plus at ₱855 total is a smaller bonus. Neither should decide a laptop purchase on its own, since the tier is fixed per model and a 2025 unit you already own may qualify, but they do add up if you were already choosing between similar machines.

Filipino students have a better deal available: Google is separately giving college students a full year of AI Plus free, which we covered in our guide to claiming Google AI Plus as a student. A student who buys an eligible ASUS laptop mapped to AI Pro could take the three-month Pro trial for the storage and higher limits, then fall back to the student offer, though ASUS's terms say starting the trial cancels an existing plan, so check the timing before stacking them.

Official Philippine pricing for the eligible laptops varies by model and configuration, and ASUS has not attached any price cuts to the promo. Coverage of the local rollout so far has come from ASUS's own announcement, carried by Dot Daily Dose and other outlets; the model-to-plan mapping is best confirmed on ASUS's checker before you buy.
