The nubia Air Pro arrives in the Philippines on September 15 with a launch price of ₱19,999, discounted from a ₱26,999 suggested retail price, for the 8GB/256GB model. The phone will be sold through nubia's official online stores, GIZGUIDE reported from the September 10 local launch. Its selling points are a 5.99mm-thin aluminum-alloy frame, a 6.77-inch 144Hz OLED display, a 108MP main camera and a 5,000mAh battery.
Design: 5.99mm thin with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings
The Air Pro measures 5.99mm thick and weighs 172 grams. nubia pairs the thin body with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, meaning it is protected against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — the last rating is rare at this price and usually reserved for rugged phones. The display is covered by high-hardness glass for scratch resistance, and the phone comes in Aero White and Prime Black.
Display and performance
The 6.77-inch OLED panel runs at 2720 x 1224 resolution (441 pixels per inch) with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 95.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness, figures that ManilaShaker's report matches. Earlier international coverage of the European unit listed a 120Hz panel; nubia's Philippine launch materials specify 144Hz.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, a 6nm octa-core chip clocked at 2.4GHz with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU (the graphics processor). It is a mid-range 5G chip, not a flagship part. Memory is 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM with extended RAM, and storage is 256GB of UFS 2.2 — an older, slower storage standard than the UFS 3.1 or 4.0 found in pricier phones, which is one of the trade-offs behind the price. nubia's spec sheet also lists a 512GB option, but Philippine pricing has been announced only for the 256GB model. The phone runs Android 16.
Battery and charging
The 5,000mAh battery uses silicon-carbon (Si-C) chemistry, which packs more capacity into a thinner cell and is how a 5.99mm phone fits a battery this size. It charges at 45W over USB-C, supports 10W reverse wired charging to top up accessories, and offers Bypass Charging, which powers the phone directly from the charger during gaming to reduce heat. No wireless charging is listed.
Cameras
The rear camera pairs a 108MP main sensor with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) with an auxiliary lens and an LED flash. The front camera is 32MP. nubia has not detailed the auxiliary lens or the main sensor's aperture in its Philippine materials, and the phone ships with AI tools for photo editing and text assistance.

The Air Pro was first shown in late June and went on sale in Germany in July at €432.89 (around ₱31,500) through Amazon, according to Notebookcheck, which also noted that the phone had a limited launch and was not yet on nubia's international store at the time. The Philippine launch price undercuts the German price by roughly ₱11,500, and even the ₱26,999 SRP comes in below it. The Pro follows the non-Pro nubia Air, which launched in late 2025.
nubia has not said how long the ₱19,999 launch price will last, so buyers who want the discount should plan around the September 15 opening.
Who should consider it
The Air Pro makes sense for buyers who prioritize a thin, light phone with a very bright, fast display and strong water resistance at around ₱20,000. The trade-offs are clear on the spec sheet: a mid-range chip, UFS 2.2 storage, a single detailed rear camera, and no wireless charging. With the discount, the price puts it against the crowded ₱20,000 mid-range segment; at its full ₱26,999 SRP the case is weaker, since the specs are mid-range while the price moves toward upper-mid-range territory.
