The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is official, and it pushes durability features usually reserved for pricier phones into the entry level: IP68 and IP69 ratings, SGS-certified drop resistance, and a 120Hz screen. The phone debuts in India at ₹15,999 (around ₱10,300) for the 4GB+64GB model and ₹16,999 (around ₱10,900) for 4GB+128GB, with open sales starting September 4 on Amazon and Flipkart. No Philippine launch has been announced yet.
Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro specifications
Full specifications come from My Mobile India's launch report:
- Display: 6.78-inch IPS LCD, HD+ (1,526 x 720), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, up to 580 nits in high-brightness mode
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G81 (12nm), octa-core up to 2.0GHz, Mali-G52 MC2 GPU — 4G only, no 5G
- Memory: 4GB RAM (expandable by 8GB virtual RAM), 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage with microSD support
- Cameras: 13MP f/1.8 main with autofocus; 8MP f/2.0 selfie with screen flash
- Battery: 5,200mAh, charging at a modest 10W per the official spec sheet (some reports cite 15W support)
- Durability: IP68 and IP69 against dust and water, drop-resistant to 1.5 meters with SGS certification
- Extras: dual speakers with DTS audio, IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 194g, 8.04mm thick
- Colors: Burgundy Red, Sunrise Orange, Eclipse Black, and Mist Silver
The IP69 rating is the headline. It means the phone can shrug off high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — a spec that only started appearing on budget phones this year, and a genuinely useful one in a country of sudden downpours and motorcycle commutes.
