The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is official, and it pushes durability features usually reserved for pricier phones into the entry level: IP68 and IP69 ratings, SGS-certified drop resistance, and a 120Hz screen. The phone debuts in India at ₹15,999 (around ₱10,300) for the 4GB+64GB model and ₹16,999 (around ₱10,900) for 4GB+128GB, with open sales starting September 4 on Amazon and Flipkart. No Philippine launch has been announced yet.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro specifications

Full specifications come from My Mobile India's launch report:

  • Display: 6.78-inch IPS LCD, HD+ (1,526 x 720), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, up to 580 nits in high-brightness mode
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G81 (12nm), octa-core up to 2.0GHz, Mali-G52 MC2 GPU — 4G only, no 5G
  • Memory: 4GB RAM (expandable by 8GB virtual RAM), 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage with microSD support
  • Cameras: 13MP f/1.8 main with autofocus; 8MP f/2.0 selfie with screen flash
  • Battery: 5,200mAh, charging at a modest 10W per the official spec sheet (some reports cite 15W support)
  • Durability: IP68 and IP69 against dust and water, drop-resistant to 1.5 meters with SGS certification
  • Extras: dual speakers with DTS audio, IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 194g, 8.04mm thick
  • Colors: Burgundy Red, Sunrise Orange, Eclipse Black, and Mist Silver

The IP69 rating is the headline. It means the phone can shrug off high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — a spec that only started appearing on budget phones this year, and a genuinely useful one in a country of sudden downpours and motorcycle commutes.

How it compares with the Spark Go 3 sold in the Philippines

The non-Pro Spark Go 3 has been on sale in the Philippines since February, priced at ₱4,499 for 4GB+64GB and ₱4,999 for 4GB+128GB. The Pro is a different tier:

Price₱4,499 / ₱4,999₹15,999 / ₹16,999 (≈₱10,300 / ₱10,900)

The converted price gap is striking — the Pro's India sticker is more than double the standard model's Philippine price. Indian launch prices for Transsion phones often run higher than eventual Southeast Asian pricing, so a Philippine SRP, if the phone comes here, would not necessarily mirror the conversion.

Will it reach the Philippines?

Tecno has not said. The company has a strong local pipeline — parent Transsion (which also owns Infinix and itel) holds about a third of the Philippine smartphone market, and Tecno sells phones, tablets, and wearables here through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. The standard Spark Go 3's February arrival came within weeks of its global debut, so a local release of the Pro would fit the pattern.

Until an official announcement lands, treat the peso figures above as conversions, not prices. If the Spark Go 3 Pro does get a Philippine SRP, its IP69-at-entry-level pitch would make it one of the most durable phones under ₱10,000 — a segment where a cracked screen or a wet phone usually means a replacement, not a repair.
