The white version of DJI's Osmo Pocket 4P costs exactly what the black one has cost since June: ₱37,790 for the Standard Combo and ₱42,290 for the Vlog Combo. DJI launched the Pearl White finish outside China on October 20, and YugaTech's review, published the same day, says it is now officially released in the Philippines. Nothing inside the camera has changed, so the only new decision for a Filipino buyer is colour, and whether the ₱4,500 jump to the Vlog Combo is worth it.
What DJI launched on October 20
DJI teased the launch on its YouTube channel with a 14-second clip titled "See More. Tell More.", and DroneXL reported that the global release was set for October 20 at 12 PM GMT, which is 8 PM in Manila. The white model had been on sale in China since September 16 at 3,799 yuan (around ₱36,000) for the Standard Combo, the same price DJI charged for black there. DJI's own Osmo Pocket 4P page now carries a footnote reading "New Pearl White color option added."
The finish is the whole story. According to the IT Home report DroneXL cited, the grip and gimbal shell use a pearlescent coating built on mica pigment, applied in several baked coats, with no metallic sparkle; it shifts tone slightly with the light and is meant to resist fingerprints. In TechPinas's review of the Pearl White Standard Combo, the reviewer found the pearlescent look more premium than a flat white, but warned that the bright colour may show dirt and smudges more easily than black.
Same camera, same specs
The Osmo Pocket 4P is the first Pocket with two cameras on the gimbal: a 1-inch CMOS sensor behind a 20mm-equivalent f/2.0 wide lens, rated by DJI for 17 stops of dynamic range, and a 1/1.28-inch sensor behind a 60mm-equivalent f/1.8 medium-telephoto lens. It records 4K video with slow motion up to 4K/240fps on the wide lens and 4K/200fps on the tele lens, offers 10-bit D-Log and D-Log 2 profiles, and has 103GB of built-in storage plus a microSD slot that takes cards up to 1TB. DJI's spec sheet lists a 1,545mAh (11.95Wh) battery rated for 210 minutes, but note the fine print: that figure is measured at 1080p/24fps with Wi-Fi and the screen off, so real 4K shooting will run shorter. Charging with DJI's optional 65W charger takes 18 minutes to 80% and 32 minutes to full. The camera weighs 230g.
Standard Combo vs Vlog Combo in the Philippines
| Combo | PH price | What the extra ₱4,500 buys |
|---|
| Standard Combo | ₱37,790 | Camera, protective cover and basic accessories |
| Vlog Combo | ₱42,290 | Adds the battery handle (extended grip with extra battery), fill light, mini tripod and viewfinder remote, per YugaTech's unboxing |
These are the same prices GizGuide reported when the black model launched in the Philippines on June 29, and YugaTech and TechPinas both confirm the Pearl White edition keeps them. For comparison, RedShark News put the European price of the Standard Combo at €599 (around ₱42,500) and the Vlog Combo at €689 (around ₱48,900), so the Philippine price is lower than Europe's, not higher. The 4P is not sold in the United States at all, because DJI has been on the US FCC Covered List since December 2025.
TechPinas recommends the Vlog Combo for interviews and heavier production work, mainly for the battery handle, and the reviewer also suggested a wrist strap because the 4P "can feel somewhat top-heavy" one-handed. If you shoot short clips and already own a small tripod, the Standard Combo is the sensible buy; the handle alone is the reason to pay more.
Where to buy it
DJI sells in the Philippines through authorised stores and its official online stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, which is where PhilSTAR Life pointed buyers at the June launch. TechPinas says the Pearl White edition is sold through the same authorised retail channels. As of October 21, neither review named a specific store with white stock on hand, so check the colour selector on the DJI store listing before ordering.
