ASUS Philippines has launched the 2026 editions of the ROG Strix G16 and G18 gaming laptops, bringing Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA's RTX 50-series graphics, and upgraded 2.5K ROG Nebula displays to the local market.
Both models are powered by Intel's Core Ultra 9 290HX (or Core Ultra 7 255HX on the entry G16 variant) paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. The displays have been bumped to 2.5K resolution (2560×1600) at 300Hz — making them competitive for both competitive gaming and content work. The 90Wh battery supports 100W USB-C charging alongside the proprietary adapter.
ROG Tri-Fan Technology returns with liquid metal application on the CPU that ASUS says reduces temperatures by up to 15°C versus standard thermal paste. Both laptops also debut a tool-less interior design, giving users straightforward access to the RAM and SSD slots without needing to fight screws.
