OPPO launched the F35 and F35 Pro in India on October 5, and the headline numbers are the same on both: an 8,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with autofocus, and a stack of durability ratings that runs all the way to IP69K. Sales start October 11 through Flipkart, Amazon, OPPO's online store, and offline retailers, with prices from ₹38,999 (around ₱25,400).

OPPO F35 vs F35 Pro at a glance

The two phones share their battery, 80W SUPERVOOC charging (OPPO's fast-charging system), and selfie hardware; the Pro's upgrades are concentrated in the display, chipset, memory, and a stabilized main camera.

One spec is worth a footnote: GSMArena lists the Pro's panel at 144Hz, while Smartprix's launch report cites a 120Hz adaptive rate — OPPO's retail listings should settle which number applies in practice.

Pricing in India

  • OPPO F35: ₹38,999 (around ₱25,400) for 6GB + 128GB; ₹42,999 (around ₱28,000) for 8GB + 128GB
  • OPPO F35 Pro: ₹45,999 (around ₱29,900) for 6GB + 128GB; ₹49,999 (around ₱32,500) for 8GB + 128GB; ₹54,999 (around ₱35,800) for 8GB + 256GB

Both phones also support reverse wired charging, so the 8,000mAh cell can double as a power bank for earbuds or another phone.

Built for rain and rough handling

The F35 series carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. In plain terms, IP68 covers submersion in water, while IP69 and IP69K add protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — ratings normally advertised on rugged industrial hardware rather than consumer midrangers. OPPO also touts a "Rainstorm Touch" mode that keeps the screen usable in rainfall of up to 1,000mm per hour, plus shock testing certified by SGS, the Swiss testing and certification firm. Software is ColorOS 16.5 out of the box, and OPPO promises the Pro three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches.

Any chance of a Philippine release?

OPPO has announced the F35 series for India only, and no Philippine pricing or availability exists at this point. The F series has recently been positioned as an India-market line, while the Philippines gets OPPO's A and Reno families instead. The ingredients are already crossing over, though: the OPPO A7 Pro arrived with the same 8,000mAh battery and IP69K rating, and even the flagship Find X10 Pro Max packs an 8,000mAh cell. If the A7 Pro's path is any guide, the specs that matter here — the 8,000mAh battery and the IP69K rating — are likelier to reach the Philippines inside an A- or Reno-series body than under the F35 name. For Filipino buyers, the F35 is best read as a preview of where OPPO's midrange is heading: giant batteries, serious water resistance, and selfie cameras that match the main sensor's resolution.
