TECNO has officially launched the POVA 8 5G in India, bringing a mid-range 5G phone with a notably large battery and a design feature most competing devices skip entirely: a customizable rear LED matrix panel called Alive Matrix Display that reacts to notifications, calls, and in-game events.
The display cycles through up to 49 animations for incoming calls, notifications, charging status, and active gaming sessions — a visual differentiator TECNO has developed across several POVA generations. On the front, the 6.76-inch FHD+ display runs at 144Hz and carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
