TECNO Unveils Spark 50 Pro With Helio G100 Ultimate, IP69K Durability, and a 6,000mAh Option
TECNO announced the Spark 50 Pro on June 16, positioning it as the toughest phone in its budget mainstream lineup. The durability credentials are the clearest differentiator: IP68 for submersion resistance, IP69 for high-pressure water jets, and SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance certification for drops from up to 1.8 meters. TECNO also backs the battery's longevity — either a 5,600mAh dual-cell or a 6,000mAh single-cell option — for over 1,900 charge cycles, which it equates to roughly six years of daily charging without significant capacity loss.
The processor is MediaTek's Helio G100 Ultimate, a 4G-only chip that scores around 550,000 on AnTuTu benchmarks. It's paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable to a claimed 24GB via TECNO's Memory Fusion software) and 256GB of storage. The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with PDAF; the front camera is 8MP. Both battery variants support 60W fast charging, reaching 63% in about 30 minutes.
The display is a 6.78-inch IPS panel at HD+ (1600×720) with a 120Hz refresh rate — the lower resolution is the expected concession at this price point. The body measures 7.8mm thin despite the large battery, and the design borrows the squared-off camera plateau aesthetic that the iPhone 17 Pro made popular. Dual stereo speakers with DTS Sound and AI Noise Cancellation for calls round out the feature set.
