Google has made the Pixel 11 series official. At its Made by Google event in New York on August 12, the company introduced the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, alongside a new Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All of them run the Tensor G6, the first smartphone chip built on a 2-nanometer process, and every model now starts with 256GB of storage. Prices begin at $899 (around ₱55,000), and open sales start on August 20, Google announced.

Pre-orders opened on announcement day, and units reach the Google Store and retail partners on August 20. 9to5Google's event roundup notes that these starting prices are $100 (around ₱6,100) higher than last year's models. The softener is storage: the base allocation doubles from 128GB to 256GB across the lineup, so the entry configuration carries more value than the price hike alone suggests.
Tensor G6 is the first 2nm smartphone chip
The Tensor G6 is manufactured on TSMC's 2-nanometer node, a first for any phone processor. Google says the chip browses the web 25% faster and launches apps 15% quicker than its predecessor, and runs on-device AI tasks up to 3.5 times faster while using 3.5 times less energy. Its TPU — the section of the chip dedicated to AI work — gains 50% more compute for Gemini Nano, the AI model that runs entirely on the phone. A new Titan M3 security chip is designed with future quantum-computing threats in mind. The base Pixel 11 and the Pro models ship with 12GB of RAM as standard, and the Pro can be configured with 16GB.
Camera upgrades: brighter sensors and 120x Pro Zoom
The base Pixel 11 gets a new 48MP main camera with 56% better light sensitivity — a 1/1.56-inch sensor, according to GSMArena — plus a 13MP ultrawide with a 120-degree field of view and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto that supports 30x Super Res Zoom.
The Pro models move to a 50MP main sensor that Google calls its best camera yet, and their 48MP telephoto gathers 30% more light. Pro Zoom now reaches 120x, Portrait Mode works at 5x zoom, and Instant Night Sight captures low-light shots up to four and a half times faster. The camera bar on the back is 40% thinner, which Google says makes the phone "virtually bumpless" with a case on. On the software side, Magic Capture analyzes roughly 500 frames to pick the best shot, and Camera Looks adds preset styles such as Natural, Editorial, and Velvet.
Displays, batteries, and charging
The Pixel 11 keeps a 6.3-inch 1080p+ OLED screen and carries a 4,985mAh battery rated for about 30 hours of use, with wired charging that reaches 55% in 30 minutes. Wireless charging on all models steps up to 25W over the Qi 2.2 standard, from 15W before. The 6.3-inch Pro and 6.8-inch Pro XL get the Super Actua display with up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and more than double the scratch resistance of the previous glass. Google claims the Pro XL gains 15 hours of battery life from just 15 minutes of wired charging and reaches about 75% in half an hour. Pro models also add HiLight, an LED ring around the camera flash that signals calls, messages, and Gemini activity using colored light patterns, without waking the screen.
All models get seven years of operating system and security updates. Pro buyers receive six months of Google AI Pro, which bundles 5TB of cloud storage and Google Health Premium.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold arrives at $1,899 (around ₱116,200). It is 10% lighter and 0.7mm thinner than its predecessor, with a 6.5-inch outer display that is 20% brighter and an inner screen that also peaks at 3,600 nits with an improved crease. It carries 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and more than 24 hours of rated battery life. A new Sign-to-Text accessibility feature converts sign language into text.
Will the Pixel 11 reach the Philippines?
Google still does not sell Pixel phones officially in the Philippines, and no local availability was announced at the event. Filipinos who want a Pixel 11 will again rely on importers and personal shoppers, where prices typically land above the converted figures and official warranty support does not apply. All peso figures here are conversions at around ₱61 per US dollar, not local prices. The $100 (around ₱6,100) generation-on-generation increase also lands amid an industry-wide memory cost crunch — the same squeeze behind Apple's MacBook Air shortage — so imported units may carry an extra markup this year.
