UGREEN has introduced the HiTune S6 Pro, a set of open-ear wireless earbuds that pitch comfort, endurance, and budget accessibility as their three defining strengths. Unveiled in June 2026 and available now in China at CNY 199 — approximately ₱1,700 or $27 at the time of writing — the S6 Pro joins a growing field of clip-on earbuds that sit on the outer ear rather than inserting into the canal.

Open-Ear Design for All-Day Comfort

The HiTune S6 Pro uses a clip-on ear hook rather than an in-ear tip. UGREEN constructed the hook using a 0.6mm memory titanium wire — thin enough to be barely noticeable during wear, yet with enough spring tension to stay secure through physical activity. The ergonomic C-bridge structure is designed to fit a wide range of ear shapes without pressure points from tips pressing against the ear canal.

This design makes the S6 Pro a strong candidate for prolonged wear scenarios — office work, outdoor commutes, workouts — where traditional in-ear designs can cause fatigue over hours of use. The open-ear format also allows ambient sound to pass through naturally, which improves situational awareness during outdoor activity.

Sound: 12mm Drivers, Spatial Audio, and Directional Mode

Each earbud houses a 12mm dynamic driver — on the larger end for this form factor — which should produce fuller bass response than the smaller drivers found in many compact clip-on models. UGREEN has incorporated spatial audio support, adding a sense of dimension and positional audio to compatible content.

A directional sound transmission mode is designed specifically to reduce sound leakage outward — a notable inclusion for open-ear earbuds, which inherently project more audio into the environment than sealed designs. For users who want some degree of privacy while listening in public, this mode narrows the sound field toward the listener.

Bluetooth 6.0 Connectivity

The S6 Pro adopts Bluetooth 6.0, the latest version of the wireless audio standard, with a claimed range of up to 10 meters. Supported audio codecs are AAC and SBC — universal standards compatible with essentially all smartphones, tablets, and computers without special pairing requirements. Lossless or high-resolution audio codecs such as aptX or LDAC are not included.

Battery Life: 9.5 Hours Plus a 48-Hour Case

Endurance is where the S6 Pro earns its strongest marks for the price. Each earbud delivers up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge. The included case carries a 580mAh battery that brings total listening time to approximately 48 hours before the case itself needs to be recharged.

For most users, that translates to a full week of daily use before touching a cable. When the time does come to recharge, the USB-C case takes roughly 90 minutes to fill from empty.

Additional Features

  • Lifetime AI voice assistant — built-in hands-free assistant with no subscription fee, activated by wake word or button
  • IPX5 water resistance — splash- and sweat-proof, suitable for gym and outdoor use
  • Weight: Lightweight clip-on construction reduces ear fatigue

Pricing and Availability

The HiTune S6 Pro launched in China at CNY 199, which converts to approximately ₱1,700 or $27. It is currently available in a single colorway, Starlight Silver. International availability — including the Philippines — has not been announced. Buyers outside China will need to monitor UGREEN's global distribution channels for a wider rollout.
