Google has launched the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, its newest book-style foldable, with a larger 6.5-inch cover screen, an 8-inch inner display and the new Tensor G6 chip. The base 256GB model starts at $1,899 (around ₱116,600), which is $100 more than last year's model.
A bigger, brighter cover screen
The main change this year is the outside screen. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold now has a 6.5-inch cover display, so you can use it like a normal phone without opening it. Open it up and you get an 8-inch inner OLED that folds flat. Both panels are very bright: Engadget's hands-on report lists up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness on each, which helps a lot under direct sunlight. The phone measures about 10.1mm thick when closed and, per Engadget, weighs nearly 10 percent less than the previous version. It comes in obsidian or olive.

The 2nm Tensor G6 is a smaller, more efficient chip design that Google says is tuned for heat control and steady performance, which matters in a thin foldable where cooling space is tight. As with other Pixels, the Fold leans heavily on Google's Gemini AI features across the system.
Price and availability
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899 (around ₱116,600) for 256GB. Pre-orders are open now, and Engadget reports units reach shelves on August 20, 2026. Google sells the higher-storage 512GB and 1TB versions at higher prices, all with the same 16GB of RAM. The $100 year-on-year increase puts it among the most expensive mainstream foldables.
What it means for Philippine buyers
Here is the honest local picture: Google does not sell Pixel phones through official channels in the Philippines, and there is no announced Philippine release for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Filipinos who want one usually buy through resellers or bring a unit in from abroad, which adds cost on top of the $1,899 base price and removes the local warranty safety net. At roughly ₱116,600 before any reseller markup, this is a specialist device that competes with Samsung's and HONOR's foldables that do have local distribution. If you mainly want the big folding screen and can live without official after-sales support, it is an option; if you value a local warranty and easy service, a foldable with an official Philippine SRP is the safer buy.
