DJI has officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4P in China, introducing the first dual-camera system in the Pocket lineup. The device was first shown at the Cannes Film Festival in May and is now commercially available, with a global launch expected soon.

Two Cameras, One Compact Body

The Pocket 4P pairs a 1-inch wide-angle sensor (20mm equivalent, f/2.0) with a dedicated 60mm telephoto camera (f/1.8, 1/1.28-inch CMOS) in a 230-gram body. The main camera claims 17 stops of dynamic range, while the telephoto offers 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 12x digital zoom.

Both cameras support 10-bit video recording and DJI's D-Log2 color profile. Video tops out at 4K at 240fps, and still photos go up to 37 megapixels.

Practical Specs

The Pocket 4P includes DJI's ActiveTrack 8.0 subject tracking and a 3-axis mechanical gimbal. Built-in storage is 103GB, and the device supports Wi-Fi 6 for live streaming. Battery life is rated at 210 minutes, and fast charging brings it to 80% in 18 minutes via USB 3.1 Type-C.

Price and Availability

The Standard Combo starts at 3,799 CNY (approximately $525, or around PHP 33,800). A Vlog Combo is priced at 4,299 CNY. The camera is currently available in China.

US buyers cannot legally purchase the device through official channels: DJI has been on the FCC's Covered List since December 2025, which prevents new DJI hardware from obtaining the FCC authorization required for US sale. DJI is challenging the designation in federal court.
