A New Flagship Tablet From OnePlus

OnePlus unveiled the Pad 3 Pro on June 20, 2026 — its newest premium tablet aimed at users who want workstation-grade performance in a portable slate. The device marks a substantial step up from its predecessor with Qualcomm's first-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a massive 13.2-inch display, positioning it squarely against the upper tier of the Android tablet market.

Display: 13.2-Inch LCD With 144Hz and Dolby Vision

The Pad 3 Pro's screen is one of its standout features. The 13.2-inch LCD panel carries a 3,392 x 2,400 resolution in a 7:5 aspect ratio — well-suited for document editing and multitasking with two apps side by side. The panel refreshes at up to 144Hz with a 540Hz touch sampling rate, delivering ultra-smooth scrolling and precise stylus response.

Peak brightness tops out at 1,000 nits, and OnePlus claims 98% DCI-P3 color coverage with a DeltaE ≈0.7 rating for color accuracy. The display is certified for Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid content, making it capable of rendering high-dynamic-range video from major streaming platforms.

Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a Big AnTuTu Leap

Under the hood, the Pad 3 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on a 3nm process. OnePlus says the chip scores around 3,900,000 points on AnTuTu v11 — roughly a 52% improvement over the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. Specific gains include a 20% boost in CPU performance and a 23% increase in GPU throughput, both with reduced power draw compared to the previous generation.

Memory configurations span three tiers: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. All models run ColorOS 16, which OnePlus has built out with productivity-focused AI features including handwriting recognition when paired with the optional stylus.

Battery and Charging: 13,380mAh With 67W Fast Charging

OnePlus fitted the Pad 3 Pro with a 13,380mAh battery — one of the largest cells in its class. The company claims the device can play through 25 half-hour video episodes on a single charge. When the battery does need a top-up, 67W SuperVOOC wired charging handles refills at a pace appropriate for a battery this size. The tablet ships with a charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable in the box.

Build, Audio, and Accessories

The chassis measures a slim 5.94mm in thickness and weighs 672 grams — respectable figures given the display size and battery capacity. Eight built-in speakers provide a surround-like audio experience designed for media consumption.

The display surface is stylus-compatible for note-taking and sketching, and an optional keyboard case accessory is available for buyers who want to use the Pad 3 Pro as a laptop replacement. Camera hardware includes a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front camera for video calls, though at this price point the tablet's strengths clearly lie in productivity and media.

Pricing and Colors

The Pad 3 Pro comes in Dark Brown and Light Green. Pricing in China is structured across three storage tiers:

  • 12GB + 256GB: CNY 4,400 (~US$650 / ~PHP 39,535)
  • 12GB + 512GB: CNY 4,900 (~US$735)
  • 16GB + 512GB: CNY 5,400 (~US$810)

Availability: China Now, Global Uncertain

OnePlus launched the Pad 3 Pro exclusively in China. The company has not announced a global release date, though its predecessor — the Pad 2 Pro — did reach international markets, making a broader rollout plausible. Buyers outside China will need to wait for an official announcement before local currency pricing becomes available.
