Yes. The waiver covers BizKo (business banking), so small business owners using BPI’s business digital channels benefit as well, in addition to personal account holders.

Is there a maximum transfer amount per transaction?

BPI did not announce any changes to existing transfer limits. Standard BSP-imposed limits for InstaPay (up to ₱50,000 per transaction for personal accounts) and PESONet continue to apply.

Will other Philippine banks follow BPI’s lead?

The BSP directive (Memorandum 2026-025) applies to all financial institutions, not just BPI, so other banks are also expected to review and potentially reduce their interbank transfer fees. Whether they waive fees entirely or reduce them to nominal amounts remains to be seen.
