The vivo X300e is now official in China, and it is an unusual mix: a 7.79mm-thin phone that still carries a 7,200mAh battery, a 50-megapixel Zeiss periscope telephoto camera and Qualcomm's current flagship processor. vivo announced it on July 27, 2026, with prices starting at ¥4,799 (around ₱43,700) and sales opening on July 31.
It becomes the fifth member of the X300 family, sitting alongside the X300, X300 Pro, X300s and X300 Ultra.

The camera is the headline
vivo's official X300 E product page leads with the 50MP Zeiss periscope telephoto lens, which supports up to 100x Zeiss digital zoom on top of its 3x optical reach. A periscope camera folds the light path sideways inside the chassis, which is how a thin phone can carry a long lens at all.
The rest of the camera package is familiar from the X300 line: a large-sensor 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. vivo also lists a set of film-style colour presets, a manual colour-grading tool, and 4K Live Photo capture arriving through a software update.
Battery and charging: silicon anode in a thin body
The 7,200mAh capacity is the specification that stands out most. vivo credits its fourth-generation silicon-anode cell design and a second-generation semi-solid-state construction, quoting an energy density of 876Wh/L. Silicon-anode batteries store more energy in the same physical space than conventional graphite cells, which is what allows a 7,200mAh pack inside a 7.79mm frame.
Charging is 90W wired. vivo notes the 90W figure is the charger's maximum output and that actual charging speed varies with temperature and battery condition — a normal and honest caveat.
Performance claims
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is built on a 3nm process — the manufacturing generation, where a smaller number generally means better efficiency. vivo quotes gains of 36 percent for the CPU, 11 percent for the GPU and 46 percent for the NPU (the block that handles AI tasks such as photo processing and on-device assistants) compared with the previous generation. Those are the manufacturer's own figures, measured on its own terms, so treat them as direction rather than a guarantee.
The display is rated at 144Hz, though vivo notes in its own footnotes that 144Hz applies only to supported games, not to general apps.

Will the vivo X300e reach the Philippines?
Not yet — and that needs saying plainly. vivo has not announced Philippine availability, a local release date or a peso price for the X300e. It is a China-market launch, and vivo has not confirmed any international rollout.
What Filipino buyers can use is the local pricing of the rest of the family as a reference point. The compact X300 FE launched in the Philippines at ₱54,999 with a 6.31-inch display, the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and a 6,500mAh battery. If the X300e ever crosses over, expect local pricing to land above the ₱43,700 conversion once taxes, duties and distribution are added — that is the usual pattern, not a promise.
